Check out the Babies and Toddler Products Buying Guide from Shopwiki Now!!!

Received good news from a friend of mine that she is expecting her little one and now she is fretting over the baby stuffs such as stroller, baby car seat, nursing stuffs, etc etc. She told me she prefer to shop it online as she doesn't really want to travel around to source and compare the prices as this will waste lots of time and it very tiring.

I believe all mummies-to-be has this same problem bacause I experience it myself before. When you enter the shop full of baby stuffs, you will feel very confuse because there are so many brands and models and you totally have no idea which one to get.

Besides, going to the motherhood forum or checking them out from your friends, where else can you go?

So guess what? Auntie Sam has a great recommendation! I introduced this friend of mine to Shopwiki's Babies and Toddler Products Buying Guide. This buying guide has lots of wonderful information. For instance, like I just purchased a Car Seat for Little Vance. I have no idea which car seat I should get because there are so many types of car seats. From Infant Car Seat Carriers, Rear Facing Car Seats, Forward-Facing Car Seats, Infant-Toddler Seats to Booster Car Seats.

I read up every single page of information from Shopwiki's Babies and Toddler Products Buying Guide. I am so amazed with the information Shopwiki has. They are so detail and informative. These information are so valuable and I guess even forums and your friends won't be able to provide you.

After hearing this, my friend immediately logged on to Shopwiki and she is so happy to see all the information on baby products there. She is so amazed with the wide variety Shopwiki has. It's just like a databank. Whatever you want to know, it's all there!

So mummies out there, fret not! With Shopwiki, you will never need to worry again.

So, check out Shopwiki now and win an Ipod Nano when you register an account with them. It's Free, Quick and Easy!

The stupid mistake I make when tearing parking coupon and there goes my $2!!!!

Yesterday while tidying up the dashboard, I realised I wasted a $2 coupon just like that!!! Just because I tear the wrong year!!!

I still remember it happen on the 1st of Jan 2009, when we are heading to my in law's place. Hubby asked me to put coupon and happily I took out the night coupon as we will be staying overnight at my in law's place.

Damn it! I torn 08 instead of 09!!! There goes the my 2 bucks!!! Frankly speaking, I believe drivers out there have committed such mistakes very frequently.

I'm really curious can we claim back our $ for committing such mistakes? For instance, tearing the wrong year, date, time etc?

From the picture you can see I only torn the year!

Sighz... I am wondering how much drivers have lost just by tearing the wrong hole on the "bound-to-make-mistake" parking coupons!

For those who are giving Hongbaos this year, what's the best amount to give?

Everyone must be very excited and looking forward to the coming Chinese New Year. It is just a week away. For kids, they will be super happy because there will be lots of goodies to eat, new and nice clothes to wear and many red packet to take.

As for working adults, although its a long weekend for us, specially for those who are married and with kids will be super busy with spring cleaning and getting the stuffs ready for the upcoming Chinese New Year.

As all of us are aware, the current economy is really down and some faces retrenchment but still all Chinese have to go through this happy occasion - Welcome the Lunar New Year! Goodies, new clothes still have to get ready. Lastly, hongbaos still have to give.

So, now the question is - How much will you give? I have asked my elder siblings and some of close friends and they told me the best amount is $4 not little and not too much.

Last year, which is a good year I have received from some relatives who gave my son up to $20. Hmm....

From what I see as compared to previous years, NTUC and those shops are no longer crowded with people. I could really feel the great impact from the current financial situation.

So, if you are preparing for your hongbaos, how much is the appropriate amount?

I want back my 2 items!!!! Always remember to check the things you buy before leaving the shop!!! Otherwise, live with REGRETS!!!

P/S: Some of the items are not in the picture

I have shopped at Daiso many times. But this time, it was a unhappy one. I purchased a total of 24 items. The total bill was $48. My husband grumbled at me for buying unnecessary things. Yes. Daiso's stuffs are so great which just cost $2 and they are too hard to resist.

After being grumbled, I am already not feeling very happy and guess what when I reached home? I took out the items one by one and there are only 22 items!!!!!

Where are the remaining 2 items? Yes, I counted the number of item correctly before I pay so the cashier did not make any mistake. Later on I recalled, I realised, the cashier after counting the number of items did not place the last 2 items into the bag!!!

She only busy counting the number of items but did not pack them properly.

Sighz... I should have check after I left the shop. I am so angry because the 2 missing items are what I NEEDED and not because I bought them out of impulse!!!!

Arghhhhhhhhhhh...... No choice, I have to waste that $4!!! I swear I will not be so careless the next time!!!

Anyway, I will still shop at Daiso because their stuffs cannot be found else where in Singapore.

This week's damaged: Eu Yan Sang's Cordyceps Mycelia Capsules

Happen to be at Plaza Singapura shopping, passed by Eu Yang Sang and realised that I need to purchase a supplement called the Cordyceps Mycelia Capsules. when I entered the shop, the sales lady was very courteous. She asked what I’m looking for. So I told her I’m interested in getting the supplement and she then explained to me the benefits of this product. While listening to her, actually I already know about it because my Mum introduced me to his product.

Later on, the sales lady went on to explain to me how to consume it. Thereafter, she asked me “Have you taken this before?”, I answered “Yes.” She smiled. I guess she smiled because she should have asked this question earlier on so she need not explain in so much details.

Anyway, her service was really good. After payment, she still introduce me to other products. Almost forgot, she gave me 2 packs of red packets which I'm really in need of because CNY is coming....

Forced to take leave on Chinese New Year?

Chinese new year is coming and all of us are very excitied. - Maybe there are some who are not! I was just told by my sister that her company "forced" everyone to take leave for Chinese New Year break.

"Hi all, this coming Chinese New Year, we shall all take a one week break for the week of 26Jan09. 28-30Jan will be considered enforced annual leave."

What about you? Did your company practice this? Would you prefer to come back to work on the third day of CNY or continue with the holidays but use your own leave?

With the current economy, every company is cutting cost, so this is quite understandable why company force their employees to use their leave....

To love someone you love or to love someone who loves you??? Sounds contradicting??? Not...

Being a human, we are contradicting ourselves everyday. This morning, I was chatting with this pal who started a new relationship recently. So out of concern, I asked him "So how's everything - you n her?" Guess what's his reply? "Ok lor..."

Hmmm... his reply seems to be very different from the previous conversations we had when he complains about his ex-girlfriend. He has so much to rave and rant about. But this new relationship seems to be a bit boring for him?

The previous relationship wasn't a happy one for him because his girlfriend then was so much younger than him. She's studying and he's working. So quarrel happens when things like- he called her during her lesson and he got screamed back! Or occasions like he got scolded by his boss and needs a listening ear but she's busying preparing her exams.

Now, he's with someone who loves him dearly. Never pick any fight with him. They have been together for 2 months and no quarrels (hopefully never!) to date. When I asked him, "Hey, you doesn't seems to be very excited over this relationship." He replied, "I'm not sure!"

Not sure? You mean you are not happy with a "quarrel-free" relationship? You mean you are not happy with someones who loves you dearly?

He confessed that he still thinks of his ex. Hmmm... the contradicting part starts... I'm really not sure what's bothering him. Isn't it a blessing to find someone who appreciates him? Or he loves a relationship with full of fights?

I have being through this too. Sometimes, we love to contradict ourselves. The person we love never treasure us but the person we love- not that much, love us like mad!

I believe most of us have being through this. So what's your view? To be with the one you love but doesn't love you or to be with the one who you don't love but worship you so much.

For me - I chose to follow my heart and yes, I married the person I love but doesn't love me much as I do (Why? Because, I just realised after being together for 11 years, he still can't spell my full name! OMG!!..)

Another paid survey by attending focus group!

I have recently attended a paid survey session. Below is the payment proof!

Being a Singaporean, I felt shameful after reading this article!!! MUST READ!!!

Guess what? I was submitting articles and I came across this. I felt totally shameful after reading this article.

Wireless in Singapore...NOT!

Sometimes, I really feel that Singapore's customer service really sucks big time!!!

They are simply very rude to their Customers!! Not only do I sympathize this Malaysian blogger but I myself being a Singaporean felt disgusted.

Why am I feeling this way?

First incident, I was shopping at OG (the one opposite Sim Lim Sq.). After trying a blouse, I asked the sales girl whether there'a new piece, without checking she immediately answer "No!". I'm so shocked!!! You mean, you have a computerised brain?? You can remember which blouse has stock and which blouse doesn't??? -sigh!!!...

Second incident, I was having lunch at Amara shopping center's food court. The cleaner after clearing the plates actually "throws" them into the bucket and splashed all the soup onto me without saying "SORRY!"...and she still continue dumping all the plates into the different buckets. WT...!!!! Argh!!!.. and the dumping of plates created so much noise!!! I can really tell how unhappy she's working there!

Third incident, I helped my Dad to terminate his Singtel line. Reason being, he seldom use so he wants to switch to Hi-Card! So I helped my Dad to call Singtel and terminate the line. I understand that they need the registered person to answer the call. So I asked my Dad to speak to the Singtel Customer Service Officer. I'm not sure whether the Singtel girl doesn't understand simple Chinese or she can't understand what it means by "Change to Hi-Card!" because my Dad keep repeating the same sentence. So feeling very annoyed, I take over the phone and repeated the same thing to her. Guess what? She asked the same question again!!! "Why do your Dad want to terminate the line?" OMG!!!!!!!! What's so difficult to understand? Terminate the line and changing to Hi-Card!!!!

I just don't understand the reason why when we sign up for the line its so damn easy, just agree to their terms and condition and there you go. But when coming to termination, they have so many questions!!! I mean how does it concern you why we want to terminate the line??? Terminate means terminate!!! STOP ASKING WHY!!! Argh!!!

The most recent incident, I was shopping at Charles n Keith. Yes they are having sales. Many people are trying out the shoes. I asked the sales-auntie that I want to try this pair at size 39 so she went in to the store, while she was still looking for the size, I saw another one which tempted me so without hesitation I asked another sales-auntie to help me get size 39 for the 2nd shoe. When the first auntie, came out she shouted, "Hey, I have already took for you, why you still ask them to get for u?".... I feel so embarrassing, people are all looking at me. So I shouted back, that auntie is helping me to get another shoe and she kept quiet. Arghhhhhhhhh!!!!!!

After reading the article from ZDNetAsia, I totally agree with him!

Specially for Meiji Fans!!! Check out their warehouse sale is damn CHEAP!!!

Today, my sister told me her colleague who stayed in Jurong visited the Meiji Warehouse sale and treated my sister to the chocolates her colleague has bought. She told my sister that the bar of chocolate only cost $0.20!!!!

Super duper cheap! I was damn shock when my sister told me this. So out of curiosity, I googled for Meiji Warehouse Sale!

Guess what? I found it! Their warehouse sale is on every Friday, 12pm - 3pm. The exact address I'm not very sure. Only know its at Quality Road.

Meiji lovers can go down and grab the chocolates!!! Hehehe..
